How Unique is UD Geothermal Energy?

Two US-based companies announced a kick-off. The MIT-spinn-off Quaise Energy starts with the Obsidian Project, Mazama Energy with the Newberry Project and IDDP (Iceland Deep Drilling Project) with the IDDP-3.
