Our Story and Our Mission
A New Energy Company. Not New to Deep Drilling.
"The technologies required to reach extreme depths do not start from zero. Endoria builds on decades of experience in deep drilling, well engineering and oil & gas operations, applying this industrial knowledge to the emerging field of EGS".
OOS Energy’s decision to launch Endoria Energy builds on decades of expertise in ultra-deep drilling and complex energy projects, including drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico to depths of over 11 kilometres. This experience can also be applied on land. Endoria Energy therefore aims to use this expertise to access the enormous heat stored deep within the Earth.
By developing ultra-deep geothermal wells, the project seeks to unlock a vast and reliable source of renewable energy for large-scale power generation. In this way, OOS Energy is applying its deep-drilling heritage to help accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy.

Cor Selen
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Cor is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Endoria Energy and OOS Energy.

Cor has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry across the United States, China, Brazil, and the North Sea. During his career, Cor worked with clients such as Exxon, Shell, Equinor (Statoil), Total, Petrobras, Conoco, Marathon Oil, Noble Energy.
Cor has held several onshore senior management and leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Maersk USA responsible for 3 ultra-deepwater drilling units, Chief Executive Officer of GOSS (Global Oilfield Support Service), and Operations Director with Ocean Rig responsible for 4 ultra-deepwater drilling units in operation and two units under construction.
In addition, he held several rig management positions of increasing responsibilities within Noble Corporation, including Rig Manager of an ultra-deepwater DP semi-submersible drilling rig. Cor has served as a member of the IADC leadership team, representing the oil & gas industry in Washington DC during the Macondo moratorium.
Cor completed an IMD business management in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Leendert van de Weerd
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Leendert is co-founder, Chief Commercial Officer and contact person for partners of Endoria Energy.

Leendert van de Weerd is an entrepreneurial business expert and strategic networker with over 30 years of experience managing complex international capital flows and industrial operations outside Europe. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Portsmouth University (UK) and later supplemented his education with executive management programs at Harvard University and Nyenrode University (NL). Currently active at the intersection of corporate financing and real estate development through De Lingestaete B.V., he is also the co-founder and fund manager of Solvane.
In addition to his financial leadership, Leendert serves as a Board Advisor & Director of Maritime Projects for OOS Group. In this capacity, his extensive background in scaling capital-intensive global operations directly supports the roll-out of Endoria Energy. Leendert excels at forging strategic coalitions and bridging the two worlds of institutional finance and deep-tech execution, making him a key catalyst for accelerating Endoria Energy’s ambitious strategy.
Boudewijn van Leeuwen
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Boudewijn is co-founder, Business and Compliance Manager of OOS Energy and the Chief Operating Officer of Endoria Energy.

Boudewijn has over 40 years of experience in the energy industry with 10 years of offshore experience on jack-ups, drillships, and semi-submersibles. Boudewijn has held a range of senior onshore positions as General Manager at ModuSpec/Lloyd’s Register, Human Resources & Contract Manager, Vice President Training & Development, VP Business Services, Rig Manager, and Training and Development Manager.
His experience spans the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, the North Sea, and the Mediterranean. During his career, Boudewijn has worked with clients such as Total, BP, Conoco, Wintershall, Shell, Eni, Pemex, NAM.
Boudewijn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Science in Training and Human Resource Management from, University of Leicester (UK).
Julian Verhage
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Julian is the Chief Financial Officer of OOS Energy and Endoria Energy.

Julian is a seasoned financial executive with over 20 years of experience in steering complex financial and governance challenges at board level. He is recognized for translating strategic and organizational issues into clear decision-making frameworks that support long-term value creation.
As Head of Finance at the Province of Zeeland, Julian led an integrated finance and legal function, managing a multidisciplinary team of finance professionals and legal advisors. He was fully accountable for financial strategy, treasury, and the planning and control cycle, and acted as a key advisor to the executive board on policy, investments, and governance.
Previously, he held senior roles at Delta Energy as Financial Strategist and Division Controller, advising on large-scale investment programs, financial performance, and governance in a complex stakeholder environment.
Julian started his career at Ernst & Young and PwC. He combines deep financial expertise with strong leadership and is a trusted advisor to boards.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics and a postgraduate qualification in Accountancy from Tilburg University, and is a Chartered Accountant (RA).
